Christmas in Texas with Mimi

Mimi joined us for the weekend after Christmas. It was wonderful to all be together. 

We went to ICE! The Nutcracker at the Gaylord Texan. Super fun and super cold. Haddon loved ICE just like Emsleigh did four years ago.

Mimi, Grancy, Emsleigh, Haddon and I went to the Dallas Arboretum and Botanical Gardens to enjoy being outside and see their angel display. 

We eat alot of kale. Maybe if it was as pretty as the kale behind us in this picture, my husband would like it more. 

Every year Mimi handmakes angel ornaments for her preschool staff. We all had a enjoyed seeing many different angel ornaments and decorations.

Emsleigh loves when Grancy teaches her. 

Christmas in Texas Pt 2

Memaw made another great gift for all of us this year. Snowmen! Which is perfect since my girls are obsessed with Olaf and everything FROZEN. Um, getting a decent picture of all of us was impossible, don't miss Kesed in the corner. :)

We like our iphones, but not as much as we love being together. I love this picture cause we all individually laid them on the table before we went into the living room.

She was so proud to sprinkle (pour) them by herself.

And always good to see the Uncle Jim and Aunt Patty King while we are there. 

Christmas in Texas Pt 1

We flew to Texas on Christmas Eve via American Airlines. Since we usually fly southwest and don't pay for bags, it was a fun challenge to pack for all 5 of us including Christmas presents in one bag under 50lbs. Yay! I did it. I have a better appreciation for one of my best friend's who is a missionary with 4 kids and travels light all the time! 

Such good little travelers....most of the time.

We went straight to my brother's house when we arrived. Everyone was very excited to see Evelyn!

We spent a good amount of time over our visit admiring her!

December

I blinked and December was over. I got sick, which changed the flow of most of the month. Despite sickness and other difficulties we had fun celebrating. Here is Ems as Mary for AWANA.

ZooLights is an annual event with Whites and we all love it. As you can see, Haddon was excited to join in on the fun.
