Blessed

After Kesed was born, five wonderful women in Pattonsburg prepared meals for our family until we moved. My Mimi and mom took us out to eat to some of our favorite places and my husband got us an amazing hotel for our graduation weekend. My mother-in-law hosted a lovely graduation party and let us stay with them until we left for Arizona. We then showed up in Arizona to a pantry and refrigerator full of food and cleaning supplies from Grace Church! And this is the house we showed up to. We are renting this lovely home for the next two months. It is fully furnished and much more than we imagined.

It was a model home for the neighborhood, so it came with a bbq grill and a putting green in the backyard. :)

There is an amazing playground right across the street.

AND a waterpark that we have full free access to!

Emsleigh has been so excited about "my pool." She is slowly becoming more comfortable with the water.

"Dada come back!"

Kesed hanging out with her friend Duck at the waterpark.

We are very blessed to have had such wonderful provisions over the past weeks!

In transition

We stayed in four different places in a little over a week as we made our way to Arizona. This little girl was wonderful!!

And her big sister was a trooper. She is a good helper and did quite well for a 2-year old out of her routine.

She loves to watch daddy shave.

She loves to talk about the pool, she loves to go to the pool, but will she get in the pool???

We Did It!!

Jeremiah and I graduated from Midwestern Baptist Theological Seminary on Saturday, May 21. Jeremiah received his second masters...this one being a Masters of Arts in Biblical Languages. I completed my Masters of Arts in Counseling. It was a very exciting day for us both!

The day would not have been complete without my Mimi, Mother and In-laws there!

We were also blessed to have some of our dearest friends from church celebrate with us. We could not have completed these degrees without all the support, encouragement and help from them!

This was one of my most favorite moments of the day. I got in the back of the van with Emsleigh after the ceremony. She hugged me over and over again and just said 'oh mama.' I took it as her way of telling me she was proud.

A good family picture was impossible after a two hour ceremony completing at lunch/nap time. So this is as good as it got.

I could not have completed my degree without the sacrifice and support of my husband. His diligence in studying inspired me, his kind words always encouraged me and his vast knowledge helped me!! I am so very thankful to him and pray that all that I have learned in obtaining this degree will help him in many ways as we serve together.

ALOT!

First, I just have to say, I am going to miss this kid ALOT!

Second, Emsleigh is going to miss him ALOT too.

Third, taking a picture with multiple children, namely toddlers, can be ALOT difficult. I love Kristin and I's faces in this picture.

Fourth, we are going to miss the Yates ALOT. I get choked up everytime I think about them.

Fifth, we are going to miss our friend, Travis ALOT too. Thankfully he has been away at college for awhile and we have already gotten used to not seeing him. But still going to miss him, ALOT.

Fifth, we are going to miss KC bbq ALOT. That is why on Friday, we celebrated graduation at our favorite bbq place, Smokehouse.

See you laters...

It has been a long crazy week which included saying lots of see you laters....

to our niece Amelia

to our dearest friends, the Lamberts

to the Holcombs

to the Standleas

to the Crabtrees

and SO many more precious friends that I did not get pictures of. Let's just say after a new baby, packing our home, graduation and saying goodbye to so many people I love, I am emotionally, physically, and mentally exhausted.
