Christmas with the Youngers

We drove to Texas on Sunday the 26th after church. On Monday morning we celebrated Christmas with my family. Stockings are my favorite!

Christmas at Home

Christmas day we were at home together. We enjoyed finishing up our advent calendar and just taking it easy.

The Table

Ems loves her new table from Memaw and Pepaw. It moved around a little until the Christmas decorations came down. But we had fun eating dinner...

and snacks...

and coloring...

until we found just the right spot for it.

Christmas with the Bradfords

We spent Christmas Eve with the Bradford family. It was a fun day and it even snowed! Here are Blake and Ems playing with Pepaw.

Memaw and Pepaw got Emsleigh this little table! She loves sitting at it and coloring or eating a snack.

A visit from the Stewards

We were blessed with a visit from our dear friends Dara, Evan and Eli. Emsleigh loved having playmates for a few days and was sad to see them go. I loved having my friend and former post-college roommate to be with for a few days!

Good Friends

We don't have many friends our age in the Pattonsburg area. This makes us extra thankful for the ones we do have! We enjoyed a fun night Friday night with the Yates Family. Emsleigh and Josiah had a good time playing together, Jeremiah and Dan had fun catching up on seminary, church life and theological things and Kristin and I enjoyed talking about mommy things and the arrival of both of our little ones the same week in May. We are thankful for the Yates!

Stretching our time to be as long as possible, we got the kids ready for bed and had story time before they left.

Around The House

We got a fun package from Mimi. Emsleigh loved the books, but the packaging was fun too!

Emsleigh had fun eating with chopsticks the other day. Don't worry there is only water in the Sonic cup :)!

Thanks to some good friends, Emsleigh was given this play house. She loves it, especially when Mommy or Daddy will come in a play too!

This girl loves bags....purses...etc.

The Christmas Program
