Thanks to Groupon we visited a local pumpkin patch. It was enjoyable to see animals, take a hayride and be together as a family. However, we were a little disappointed to end our hayride in a what my husband called a 'pumpkin lot' instead of an actual pumpkin patch. I guess that is what happens when you live in the desert?

This looks a little fall-ish right? Not like it is hot and the sun is beating down and if you leave this one little area trees and grass are lacking. Definitely missing fall weather this year.
