The Lain family came to visit for a weekend. Roxi and I were roommates in China. 10 years later, husbands, kids and a whole lot of life has happened, but it felt like just yesterday we were eating hot pot and trying to stay warm in our hot box. Our families had lots of fun spending the day just down the road at Rooster Cogburn Ostrich Ranch. The Monster Truck Tour was our first adventure.
We learned about the desert and ostriches.
We got to go ostrich fishing.
And to end we took a little wild ride in the monster truck
After the monster truck ride we walked around the ranch feeding deer, donkeys, goats, ducks, lorikeets and ostrich.
To top off our fun-filled morning we picnicked at Picacho Peak and then took a hike. It was a great day....mostly :).
